Who knew the new generation of real world race car technology would come to PDK and Dual Clutch Transmissions. The new Corvette Stingray C7 Z06 has a super charged 6.2 Liter monster engine that revs to the sky. The debate of GM’s A8 transmission vs the PDK and the Dual Clutch has been heated all over the forums. On the race track some say there are a quarter of a second of a delay, but is that really noticable by a normal human being driving on the street?
The shifting time is dependent on the load of the engine. Load includes pedal position, engine rev, and the electronic signals sent to the ECU of the car. More track tested results will come. Please stay tuned.
